Safety & AI Accuracy
You are responsible for safe, legal hunting: confirm property lines, landowner permission, licenses, seasons, weapon rules and safe shooting directions yourself. StandOut Hunting IQ boundaries and stand suggestions are planning aids, not legal survey data.
How recommendations are built
Terrain, elevation, slope, aspect, land cover and travel corridors are computed deterministically from public GIS data (USGS 3DEP, NLCD, Copernicus) and your drawn boundary. Weather comes from Open-Meteo. AI interprets and ranks those measured features — it does not invent geometry.
Evidence classes
- Observed — measured GIS data, your trail camera photos and your journal entries.
- Inferred — derived from observed data (rut timing, wind exposure, travel cost).
- Speculative — AI behavioral prediction. Treat as a hypothesis to verify in the field.
Confidence scores
Scores reflect how much supporting evidence exists, not a probability of success. Low confidence usually means sparse property data — add photos, cameras and journal entries to sharpen results.
Your responsibilities
Confirm property boundaries and permission with authoritative records. Follow all licenses, tags, seasons, weapon restrictions and tree-stand safety practices. Never rely on StandOut Hunting IQ for legal boundaries or safe shooting directions.
